Eurodoc
Eurodoc is the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers. It is an international federation of 32 national organisations of PhD candidates and Postdocs and 4 observers from member states of the European Union and the Council of Europe. Eurodoc’s mission is to represent and consolidate the community of doctoral candidates and junior researchers in Europe in their pursuit of a decent professional life. Eurodoc aims to be the effective and efficient voice of doctoral candidates and junior researchers at the European level.

Council of the Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF
The Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF is the most important funding institution for young researchers in Switzerland. As the representative of actionuni in the Foundation Council, the highest decision-making body of the SNSF, my task is to make sure that the specific position that young researchers and non-professorial academic staff occupy in the Swiss academic system be constantly taken into consideration and promoted within the various programmes and strategies of the SNSF.

Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreign Scholars and Artists
The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships are aimed at young researchers from abroad who have completed a master’s degree or PhD and at foreign artists holding a bachelor’s degree. Each year the Swiss Confederation awards Government Excellence Scholarships to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and over 180 other countries. Recipients are selected by the awarding body, the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS).

swissuniversities is the rector’s conference of all officially recognised Swiss Higher Education Institutions. The Teaching Delegation of swissuniversities anticipates topics in teaching, ensures information transfer between all Higher Education Stakeholders and develops position papers, policy briefs or concepts as the basis for decisions taken by the board of swissuniversities regarding the topic of teaching.
